I love to look at old Woodstock images. They inspire me so much. Looking through these images of one of my dearest friends, Lauren, I can’t help but see that inspiration come through. Hi, I’m Chrissy! Of all the photos in this feed it occurs to me I’ve never taken the time to share one of myself. So here’s a self portrait and a selfie. The first showcases the power of good lighting, some makeup, and photoshop.... the second showcases confidence without all that. . . . .
I always say that my strength as a photographer is that I SEE people. I don’t just see a persons appearance, I see who they are. That’s what I aim to capture when I’m shooting. Recently, I’m working on seeing myself... as is. It’s a journey, but I’m grateful for the process.
